Darren Devia vs Bret Ace

The Chaos themes plays and after a graphic opening video of Chaos it switches to live shots of the crowd as Greg Wood and Thomas March introduce us to tonights show.

Wood: Ladies and Gentleman welcome to another night of SWE Chaos shown here tonight from the Hartford Civic Centre in Hartford, Connecticut.

March: I can't wait for the show tonight Wood.

Wood: I know what you mean March. Tonight we have Lee Fu up against one of his opponent from last week; Scorpio Dean Phillips in a steel cage match

March: What about the other Japanese guy

Wood: He is in an international match against the debuting Ramirez el Feo.

March: Can't wait for tonight.

Wood: But first we have a match two of the most technical and popular wrestlers here tonight: Darren Devia and Bret Ace

The arena turns dark and a gigantic Doomsday clock appears on the titantron, with one of its hand on the 5 minute mark. It slowly moves up to the very top and that's when "Doomsday Clock" by Smashing Pumpkins plays and a series of pyros goes off. Amongst it's midst stand Darren Devia who soon starts walking until he is clearly seen by the crowd and camera's. A pyro-shower covers him and when it stops Devia continued his walk to the ring.

Eve Such: The following match is scheduled for one-fall. Introducing first from Sydney, Australia weighing in at 260 pounds, he is "The Prophet" Darren Devia.

The crowd makes an huge pop for the Australian as he gets to the ring. Once he entered inside he climbed the nearest turnbuckle and did a crucifix-pose before jumping off and sitting on the lower rope of said turnbuckle awaiting for his opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen hits the PA system as the crowd begin to cheer. After a few secconds, Ace walks out to a warm reaction. He is smiling from ear to ear. He stops on the stage, turns around, and fireworks shoot up from the stage. The crowd pop him. Bret turns back and slowly walks to the ring, slapping a few hands along the way.



Such- Making his way down tha aisle, hailing from Toronto, Canada and weighing in tonight at 230 lbs. This is The Diamond Ace, Bretttttttttt Aceeeeeeeeeeee.

Wood- Last week, this man showed his dark side when he hit Hex Banshee over and over again with a chair. And finally hit Air Canada onto the chair.

March- More like moronic, the man ticked off one of the most vicious man in SWE. Bad move.

Wood- True. Tonight he fights Devia, so this will be another very tough opponent.

Ace makes it to ringside. He looks at Devia, who is standing in the middl of the ring. Bret slides under the bottom rope and quickly goes towards the right corner and climbs the turnbuckle. He raises his fist's in the air, much to the delight of the crowd. He then jumps down. He turns to Devia and the two go into a staredown. The ref rings the bell as the match is under way. The crowd cheers.

Ace attempts to punch Devia but the Australian blocks it and hit a series of quick punches to Ace's face, causing him to back up against the ropes. There Devia grabs Ace's right arm and tries to irish whip him to the other side, but Ace manages to reverse it and Devia is send instead. Ace sets Devia up for a back-drop however he sets up too early and Devia manage to stop himself and make a quick kick to Ace's face causing him to stand up. Devia grabbed Ace and hit him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Once Ace hit the mat, he grabbed hold onto his back while Devia begin stalking him, setting Ace up for a Minutes-2-Midnight spear. However when Ace got up onto his feet, he saw Devia coming at him and manage to dodge at the last second. Devia quickly got back onto his feet only to be send back down with a superkick from Bret Ace.

Wood: What a back-and-forth action between the Australian and Canadian wrestlers here tonight, their literally exchanging moves here.

March: You should listen to the fans here tonight they don't know who to cheer for.

And March was right one time the fans were chanting De...vi...a, De...vi...a and at other times they chant Let's go Ace, Let's go Ace. But back to the match, with Devia down Ace attempted to put him in a Diamond Submission but Devia quickly fought his way to the ropes stopping Ace from putting in his submission hold. With Ace being force by the ref. to back up, Devia slowly slide further away from the ropes before he did a Shawn Michaels-style kick-up, jumping back onto his feet. The ref quickly moved, allowing The Prophet to send Ace down with a clothesline, he followed this up with a Standing Leg-drop before placing Ace into a Triangle Choke-hold..

Wood: Darren Devia has finally taken the advantage early in this match.

March: Just give him a second to screw-up.

Ace, desperately tries to get out the hold however, Darren locks it in tighter and Bret can hardly mive starts to fade in and out of conciousness. The crowd try and get behind Ace by chanting is name but Devia shouts out "No, your heroes not going anywhere". The ref checks Ace out, he drops Ace arm once..........twice...........and drops it down for the third time but no, Ace suddenly springs to life and starts to shake his arm. Devia tries to lock it in tight but Ace starts to get out. Ace then does an amazing reversal. He gets to his knees, still in the hold and flips over and gets Devia in a pinning predicament 1........2.......2.7 No. Devia just kicks out. Darren lets go and the two get up quickly, back to back. Ace and Devia turn at the same time. Ace hits Darren with two stiff kicks to the legs Devia screams out in pain and is forced to his knees. The crowd cheer. Ace signals for a big hit. Ace runs off the ropes and goes for a high knee on the fallen Darren but as he is about to hit Darren, Devia nips up and hits a vicious lariat which turns Ace inside out and makes him do a corkscrew in the air. The crowd are in awe and Devia is smiling sadistically. He turns to Ace and quickly pounces on him looking for the pin. 1..2....No! Ace gets a shoulder up, much to the delight of the crowd. Devia gets up and questions the referee. Devia, though, quickly turns to Ace and drags him to his feet. Darren lifts Bret up into a running powerslam position. The crowd boo, prefusely. Devia starts to run but at the last minute Bret edges his way and lands at the back of Devia. He is still dazed though. Devia turns around and out of nowhere,Ace hits the skydome ski the crowd explode in cheers but both men are down.

Wood- Oh my gawd! he hit a cutter out of nowhere, I thought he was done.

March-Damn, so did I. It was .....lucky...yh that's right, lucky.

The crowd begins chanting for one wrestler to get up; half of them were chanting for Devia and the other half for Ace.

Wood: The crowd split half-way in-between this match.

March: Why the hell are their people chanting for the clown it makes no sense. In fact it makes no sense for them to cheer for either of these two losers.

Both Devia and Ace slowly gets to their feet at the same time, both using ropes that are opposite from each other. They look back at the middle of the ring and begins a stare-down. They start to walk to each other and met at the middle of the ring where Ace slaps Devia. The Australian responds with a slap himself and Ace then throws a punch. But Devia blocks the punch and starts throwing some quick punches of his own forcing Ace back to the ropes where Devia irish-whips him to the other side.

Devia sets the Canadian up for a back-drop but Ace tries to clothesline "The Prophet". Devia dodges so Ace quickly attempts a superkick. Devia catches his leg and goes down to grab his other leg dropping Ace to the ground and effectively puts him in a position for Devia to lock in a Sharpshooter. Ace however fights his way to the ropes before Devia could gets his leg wrapped around.

Wood: Devia seemed to have lost control of this match.

March: I told ya he would screw up didn't I.

Devia is force to back away by the ref. allowing Bret Ace to get back onto his feet, the ref. quickly moves to allow the match to continue and Ace runs towards Devia grabs him by his head and makes his hitting Canada move.

March: Yep the clown lost the match.

Ace covers Devia.

No! Devia forces Ace of of him which receives a decen pop from the crowd. Ace gets on his hands knees, shaking his head. He then gets to his feet and wipes the sweat from his forehead. He turns to Darren who is till on the canvas. He grabs his right leg and drives a knee into the thigh of Devia, who yelps out in pain. Bret gets up and repeats the attack this time to the back of the knee. Half of the crowd begin to cheer, others boo. Ace repeats himself over and over again. The big australian is lying on the canvas writhing in pain. Bret then signals to the crowd that he's going for a submission, which is met with mixed rections once again.

Wood- This could be it. Ace is in full control of this match.

March- Jesus Christ, what losers.

Wood- Have you no respect.

March- Not for these two..

Ace then grabs the injured, right leg of Devia and looks for the figure four leg lock and yes he locks in the hold as the crowd shout out "Wooooooooooos" in tribute to the legend himself. Devia desperatly tries to get out of it but the pain is to much, he is writhing in pain and Bret is not letting up. Devia sits up, trying to get out but instantly falls back on the canvas. The ref counts Darren's shoulders down one.......two.......thre No! Devia sits up shaking his head. He tries to use his power to pull himslef to the ropes but Ace pulls him back as mixed reactions fill the arena. Devia is lying on the canvas. The ref counts him down, One........Two.........thre, Devia sits up with an angry look upon his face Ala Taker. Half the crowd cheer frantically as the other half boo. Ace turns red and his shocked. Devia reaches over and grabs the neck of Ace. Devia then, with the other hand, hits Ace with a few punches. Ace falls to the canvas but it was a bad move by Devia as it made Bret pull back in the hold but Devia uses is amazing strength and start to turn over over. Ace tries to stop but can't, the front row of the crowd let out cheers as most of the crowd let out groans with a few cheers. The aussie manages to reverse it and amazingly turn it into a sharpshooter. Ace is in agony but is close to the ropes and reaches out and grabs the bottom rope. Devia lets go and flops to the canvas.

Wood - Devia almost had the sharpshooter locked in there. However Ace as damaged the left leg of Devia.

March - Damn, the match continues. Just let them beat the crap out of each other.


Bret pulls himself up by the ropes as Devia, manages to get up by himself but he is limping. The two are back to back and as they turn Ace goes for another skydome ski however, Devia pushes him away into the ropes. Bret rebounds off the ropes yet out of nowhere, Darren explodes at Ace with a rib breaking M2M. THe fans who like Devia cheer as Ace fans jeer. Both men liie on the canvas. Ace is holding his ribs, gasping for air while, Darren is to exhausted to capitalize.

OoC: How was that?

Slowly Devia crawls over to Ace and throws one of his arm over Ace's body, the ref. quickly counts the pin, as the fans either booed or cheered depending on who they were supporting.

KICK OUT. This brings out an huge pop from the crowd who wants to see the match continue.

Wood: I almost thought Ace lost the match there.

March: I was hoping.

Wood: Really?

March: Yeah I want this match to just end so we can see some real matches, from real performers not these clowns.

Devia slowly forces himself back onto his feet, while Ace crawls over to the ropes and used them to help bring himself onto his feet. With both Devia and Ace on their feet they engaged in a test-of-might type grapple. Devia being the stronger of the two manage to push Ace back to the ropes where he Irish-Whipped Ace to the opposite ropes. The Prophet next set Ace up for a back-drop, however he set him up too soon and Ace manage to put the brakes on him in time to kick Devia in the face.

The Australian immediately straightened up and Ace out of no where hit him with another Skydome Ski. He then went to cover him 1.....2...Kick out. Ace looked frustrated at this but quickly gets up to climb the nearest turnbuckle. Ace then waited until Devia got back onto his feet before he jumped off to hit Royal Ace. Ace followed this up by placing Devia in a Diamond Compression.

Ace gets to is feet,with the hold locked in tight. The crowd start a bak and forth chant of, "Lets Go Ace,"Lets go Prophet". Bret ignores it and desperately trying to get Darren to tap. Devia's arm has gone to a limp and is just hanging down. The ref checks him out. He lifts Devia's arm up and lets it drop......1....drops it again.....2........and for the last time.......No! Devia stops himself, much to the delight of the fans. He tries to grab the head of Ace but Bret pulls back on the hold. Suddenly, as if by instinct, Darren reaches out, grabs Bret head, spins around and hits a snap ddt.Some of the crowd jeer, others cheer. The Prophet and Ace are both lying on the canvas. Darren manages to drape an arm over Ace,

No Ace just gets a shoulder up,to the delight of half of the crowd.

Wood- What a grueling match. Neither one desere to lose.

March- Yeah but at the moment only the crowd are loosing.

Darren just rolls off Ace exhausted but, starts to get to his feet. He gets up but stumbles back into the corner. He signals for Ace to get up. Ace wearily sits up, he gets to is feet but is groggy, also he as his back turned to Darren. When Ace turns he is met with a boot to the gut, which makes The Diamond Ace curl over in pain. Devia then lifts Bret onto his shoulders looking for the Apolypse 101, the crowd chanting an jeering for Devia. Darren spins around but Ace manages to land on his feet, Prophet sees this and hits a vicious STO. Bret lands hard on the canvas as Darren is in full control of the match.

OoC: Sorry about the short post and do you mind if you finish it.

Devia slowly makes the cover 1......2.....2-and-a-half. Devia gets back on his feet with a look of frustration on his face. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle and looks for a Diving Headbutt, however Ace manages to roll out of the way and out of the ring. While Devia was still in pain from the Headbutt, Ace quickly got onto the apron and waited for Devia to get up. When he did, Ace went to hit his Edmonton Lariat but Devia quickly countered with a M2M.

Devia slowly gets back to his feet and does a crucifix-pose for the crowd, he then grab Ace by his head pulling him to his feet. Devia places Ace in a powerbomb position and lifts him up over his head onto his shoulders. He stretches arms but suddenly Ace begins elbowing Devia's head and breaks free of the move. Devia is clutching onto his head and turns to look at "The Diamond Ace" in both surprise and anger.

Wood: I think that was the first time anyone ever broken out of Devia's crucifix-hold.

March: I'm surprised it took this long.

Ace crawls over to the ropes and uses them to help get back onto his feet. As he turned around Devia was in his face and The Prophet and grabbed Ace's arm and whipped him to the opposite side. Devia sets Ace up for a back body-drop but once again he set him up to early and Ace manage to hit a running STO. Ace then did a kick-up and walked to the corner holding onto the ropes while he takes a moment to rest. Devia take this moment to get onto his feet and finds Ace, whos finished breathing walk ober to him.

The two starts a fist-fight in the middle of the ring, but Ace took it further and kicks Devia in the mid-section and bends the Australian forward, placing his head between Ace's legs, The Diamond Ace then grabbed hold onto both of Devia's arms and hits the Air Canada. Ace then rolled Devia over and pins him.

Ladies and Gentlemen by Saliva plays as the crowd gets onto their feet. Although most people were split they all cheered for Ace for winning a great match

Wood: It's over, this match is over

March: What?....Finally?

Ace then climbs the turnbuckle and poses to the fans before leaving the rings and slapping hands with the ones in the front row. At the same time Devia recovered and looks at Ace, a look of anger seems to be on his face.

Wood: Look at Devia, he doesn't look at all happy with this result.

March: It was the first time he ever got pinned he in SWE, so he properly be a little unhappy with that. But then again who cares?

Wood: Well March, I don't thing this is over yet, I think it just begun. Coming up next The Criminal and Sancho Dias join forces to take on The Underworld
